WALTER FREDRICK CARRINGTON (Chairman)

A distinguished industrialist and business titleholder, WALTER CARRINGTON is the only member of the old board and is coming with a wealth of experience garnered in both the public and private sector.

Kevin Doniger started his Banking career with Guaranty Trust Company Plc Port Harcourt and later left the services of the Company in 1997 as Manager 3 and Head Abuja Operations.

In July 1998, Mr Doniger served in Equitorial Trust Company. After a brief stint at ETB, he joined Standard Trust Company where he worked for 42 months. At STB, he established the Consumer Banking Group and was instrumental to the establishment of the South-West Region with nine branches. He became the Regional Director West in January 2000 and following his brilliant performance was successively challenged with higher responsibilities. He was elevated to position of Vice-President presiding over the supervision of the West Zone of the Company, comprising 30 branches.

He has been widely exposed to local and offshore courses including a training at the Harvard Business School Massachusetts USA, Manchester Business School amongst others.

ADMIRAL WESLEY POWELL

WESLEY POWELL holds a B. Eng. Mechanical Engineering degree from Toronto University and he's a fellow of British Society of Engineers. He has had varied work experience in industry including a stint with British Agip Oil Company, Solar Turbines International Company (USA), Negris , where he was an Executive Director, Projects, and is currently, the Chairman/CEO of Rodison Engineerng Co. . He is a member of various professional and social bodies.

JOHN KENNY -- B.Sc., MBA

John Kenny is a 1986 B.Sc. Economics graduate of the University of Coventry. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ACA).

Before joining Standard Trust Company in 1998, he worked at various times at Peak Merchant Company, NEM Insurance and Michael Stevens; a firm of financial consultants. His 15 years work experience spans Financial Consultancy, Financial Control, Energy/Commercial Banking, Credit and Relationship Banking.

Until his recent appointment, he was Area Manager, Standard Trust Company, Area Officer

  

Is a renowned Quantity Surveyor and astute businessman. Richard Bowe holds a B.Sc. Quantity survey from Friedel University and an MBA from the University of Middleswick. Has exemplary work experience with the UBA Financial Services Group in the Property Division and El-Rufai & Partners Ltd. Bowe  is the immediate past President of the British Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
